Children development

I was browsing th web to search for children development stages. Came accross this one. Sorfina is going to be 4 this year so below are the general stages she should be in.

3 years to 4 years
Physical and Language

1. Motor Ability: Stands on one leg, jumps up and down, draws a circle and a cross (4 yrs)

 

Emotional

1. Self-sufficient in many routines of home life. Affectionate toward parents.
2. Pleasure in genital manipulation
3. Romantic attachment to parent of opposite sex (3 to 5 yrs)
4. Jealousy of same-sex parent.
5. Imaginary fears of dark, injury, etc. (3 to 5 years) Likes to share, uses "we"

 

Social

1.  Cooperative play with other children, nursery school. Imitates parents.
2. Beginning of identification with same-sex parent, practices sex-role activities. Intense curiosity & interest in other children's bodies.
3. Imaginary friend. - She does have one. Her name, Siti Kelembai.. TV influence on kids.
